Generations is a family band out of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Generations is passionate about classic rock and country music. We bring vibrant shows filled with energy and connection, performing songs that resonate across all age groups and create memorable experiences.

Generations was formed in 2022 by brothers Bob and Jim Welborn. Jim's son Marty and Bob's son Jeremy rounded out the band. All of the Welborn's had played for many years before forming Generations, either together or with other bands and musicians. Some of these included Heritage, Cross Country, and Destination 60.

Sadly, drummer Bob Welborn passed away on July 7, 2023, after a fight with cancer. In 2025, Bob and Jim's brother Michael joined the band replacing Bob on drums.
